Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.

Speech Recognition Tutorial has not been changed since Vista

Submitted by xombie on January 17, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance

Open Control Panel > Speech Recognition Options > Speech Recognition Tutorial.

You'll get a nice fullscreen tutorial, but the program windows and stuff in the screenshots are all from Vista!

I suppose they do have it on their list, but doesn't hurt to put it up here.

Update the tutorial's graphics.

What about international localization of the speech recognition capabilities?

Wow, never tried it in the Vista Beta (and then never really used Vista either).

You're right!

But now it's all slow and laggy. Is it just me (because I upgraded instead of a clean install) or is it the same with you?

Well, I can't test Speech Recognition since I'm running it on a virtual machine...
