List of WMP 12 Observations
Cannot open multiple windows of WMP
Aero Basic doesn't have controls in window list, useful if there is one.
Command Bar off alignment
Buttons do not glow:
Back/Forward
Breadcrumb
Play/Burn/Sync
All other controls
Now Playing Mode
Clicking current song name/artist/album should jump back to song.
Share could have more services (youtube, etc.)
New "Hover and Preview" feature is cool! Could do with some mix fading
Fade in and out for switching songs, play and pause.
Command Bar does not give more options when item is highlighted, suggested:

Add to list (drop down if want to select list)

Impossible to exit Skin Chooser mode except through back button

When the window is resized, the visualiztion stretches and turns into crap. Make it dynamically resize.
The album art does not resize, when the window is too small
Show List button glowing bug
Show List button is too big and doesn't really need the icon
All controls except Play/Pause has no glow

There is no way to turn off the album art or the song info.
Window should should fade and resize when switching modes (like a copy dialog) Transitions between "show list", slide or fade through
Rating Stars should be shown when window is large enough.
Both modes:
Hovering over slider tablet should have balloon over showing position instead of tooltip
Closing should hide WMP by default, not close it unless the music is stopped. Ask users for their choice
Implement suggestions and fix bugs.

Lets face it, mdia player 12 is worse by terms of design. I cant even use it because the design. To much sliver and baby blue mixed with gray and blue text..... WTF were they thinking?

You mean crossfading? If yes, it's there.

You ca always right click on the empty areas (next to the breadcrumb bar and the playback controls) and voila! the menus are accessible in an instant. If you suggest having a button for the options, I think it's better hidden away from accidental clicks.

Well, it's static because it's the "No visualization" option. If someone wants movement, they can enable visualizations.

Just right click in the visualization area, the option is there.

No no, why would anyone eant to introduce more incosistent behavior? The Close button closes apps. If you want it out of the way, why not minimize it?
I pretty much agree with anything else, and may I add one more suggestion?
Bring back the rating stars in Now Playing Mode, when the List is stretched enough for them to fit, just like the List in Library mode.

I want the music to fade in and out when play/pause is clicked
Less static background would mean either:
One with just a repeating background video (using current no viz frame)
and one that reacts with the music (think musical aura. nice)
Show List button exhibits buggy glowing behavior when hovering over.
Turn off Album art ONLY. not the title also.

The "Play Next" option is brilliant, but it is overridden if you are playing with Shuffle turned on - surely it should override Shuffle as well.
Options for portable devices are still very limited; specifically, still only 4 options for bitrate (64, 128, 160, 192). More low-bitrate options needed.
