Explorer jumplist has inconsistent behavior, hides disconnected drives but shows folders on disconnected drives

Submitted by brian.shapiro on January 14, 2009 to Annoyance

If an external drive is pinned to the Windows Explorer jumplist, it won't show it when the drive is disconnected, but if a folder that's on that drive is pinned, it will show that.

If the drives are hidden, Explorer should also hide folders on those drives.
