Brush In Paint Program Runs Out Of "Paint"

Submitted by fiji on January 4, 2009 to Annoyance

The Brush in the lower corner in the paint program runs out of "paint". Is that really neccassary. I know it adds more realism but that is going to far. We're not running Kidpix or something.

Don't let the Brush run out of paint or add a feature to turn it on or off.

Akward but majority is fine with it.

I can't decide if that's awesome or not :D

Not awesome because if a person is painting intending to draw something and their virtual brush runs out they will have a messed up picture. Awesome becuase of the level of realism. I actually would like a feature to turn this on or off.

If you don't like the watercolor brushes then just choose another one.

I do like them. -1

Yeah, this is kind of ridiculous. I was thinking the same thing. I think it's the oil paint and watercolor brushes that do this, right?

Also, I know a lot of artists who use MS Paint to create digital art (which is really amazing considering they're not even using this revamped Windows 7 version yet) so this might be a little silly.

There's always the normal brush, that won't fade. So there is indeed the option.

Well this is a water brush that make you feel that you use a real water brush so that's good that it runs out of paint, and it's not error I saw a lot of drawing programs have this feature.

Err, Well how do you "refill" it? Choose the color again?
Lol the next build will feature a "water glass" tool in which you have to wash your brush in order to get clean colors, otherwise if you have drawn red and now draw yellow you'll get some dirty green :D:D:D

Ensign Joe...you know, I would love that! (with an option to turn realism off, of course)

@tino: Okay, but what if you *want* the watercolor or oil brushes? What then?
