7MC Record Button - Warning needed + Visual change
Record problem - If you hit the Red-Record button during pre-programmed recording the recording just stops no warnings or requesters - if you try to cancel from Prog Info etc. then you are prompted (correctly) to check you want to cancel the recording.
I also feel that during recording the record button should change to let you know a recording is in progress eg. a Red Ring added round the Red Button. There is no indication that a recording is in progress (unless you notice the little redish dot at the left of the status bar or check info or guide) and no warning that pressing the Red Button will not start a recording but will stop it ! instantly and with no feedback.

Button should change to reflect a recording in progress.
Requester should pop up to check you really want to cancel recording if it is a pre-programmed recording.
