Devices Windows and device stage bug

Submitted by .Chris on January 25, 2010 to Aesthetics, Annoyance, Bug

Disclaimer: For this to work, you need to have a peace of hardware that had device stage. more information on device stage can be found here: http://bit.ly/uQlZl & http://bit.ly/1cVRiE

when you open up the devices and printers window , and then click on a device that uses device stage, the control pannel icon on the desktop goes away and the device icon comes in to play, hit the back button the same thing happens but reverse,

+1, weird behaviour indeed.

Something else equally weird - when you plug in a device that supports Device Stage, you get an icon on the taskbar. It's got the glow around it like a running program, yet has no actual window associated with it. When you click on it to open the Device window, you get two icons in the taskbar (and in Flip and Flip-3D). It's slightly confusing and looks inelegant.

Oh, no, short links!
There's no need to use them in this site. You don't have a 140 chars limit.

However +1

I know, but I wanted the submission to be as clean as possible.
