Aero Theme Thumbnails Gone Blurry

Submitted by veer01_42 on January 11, 2010 to Annoyance, Bug

I was playing around with some themepacks and after one instance of closing the "Personalisation" window, when i re-opened it, the aero themes looked like this....

1. Go to this location: -
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper

2. Show Hidden System Files and Folders

3. Then proceed to delete all the ".ini" files in that directory and all subdirectories.

4. Problem Fixed

Low

Medium

This isn't a knowledge base.

This was blurred on photoshop. I can tell because the PNG used for aero window is not cached as a thumbnail. This guy is making fools of us. Post should be removed.

FAKE FAKE, and again, FAKE PROBLEM. -1.

I actually experienced problems like this before. He had a problem posted, but edited it hence the edit mark above. to reflect the solution.

Yes but the aero glass PNG doesnt get cached by thumbnails, it wouldnt cause blur like that.

He should at least SAY that he photoshopped it, otherwise it looks like a fake problem.

Trolls, please go back in ur holes!!!

Also, a problem like this shouldn't be occurring in the first place. Its a visual pimple, so id say its something to complain about.

Troll? We are not linux users dude.

The reason why I demoted this suggestion in the first place was because you photoshopped it and you DIDNT SAY you photoshopped it to show the problem, me assuming the problem was fake.

And if this is a real problem, then +1.

Save the word Trolls for Ilovelinux.com or whatever.

I photo-shopped nothing, i took a screenshot and highlighted the issue with a red box, otherwise that is a actual screenshot of the actual problem!

Duplicate, so duly demoted.

The issue is 100% real and I googled it find this solution. It IS in RTM 7600.
The other url doesn't have any solution it just posts the details of the issue.
Thanks to veer_01 for posting the info. You all should stop being trolls and hating on people so much. His solution works btw.
