Allow the save location for a Library to be SOMETHING OTHER THAN one of the Library locations
Submitted by Shayne on December 22, 2009 to Annoyance, Bug, Usability
For example, one of my uses for Libraries is to have a movies folder (E:\Videos\Movies) and then have a library called "watched movies" and another library called "unwatched movies". When I decide to copy/save a new movie to either of these libraries it should be placed into the E:\Videos\Movies folder and not one of the folders inside there. Also have the option of not specifying the save location so that you are prompted every time.
Allow more control for the specification of the save location for libraries. Include the option of not specifying the save location so that you are prompted every time you try to copy/save a file to the library. Perhaps even allow for specifying rules for saving different file types to different locations.
