Can't change names for external hard drives
When I try to change (or set) a name for any one of my external USB drives, it just doesn't save. I've tried by clicking on Rename, by left-clicking once, by changing the name in the Properties. After hitting Enter / pressing OK (or Apply and OK) the name goes back to Local Disk (and the name field in Properties goes back to blank).
I've also did a test with a standard USB stick. The first time I plugged it in, it showed the name for a brief second and changed immediately to Removable Disk, so I tried changing the name and couldn't, exactly like with the hard drives. BUT, when I unplugged it and plugged it back, the name was shown and it's still showing every time I plug it in. So the problem fixed itself after I re-plugged it for the first time..
Obviously, it becomes a problem when you have more drives plugged in, as you can't tell which one is which (the only option I thought of is to look at the size, but what when you have two disks with the same size?). I have two and I'm frustrated like hell when I want to access one quickly and I don't know which one to click..
Anyone else has this problem?
It seems to me that the name of the disk is still there somewhere, but Windows doesn't show it for some reason, thinking there is no name at all (that's what my USB stick test suggests).
Well, it's a bug, fix it please!
