Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

In the "New" menu, I should be able to create a PNG image instead of a Bitmap image

If I right click on the desktop or a white space in Windows Explorer, I can choose to create an image in Bitmap. However, bitmap is old.

Windows Paint doesn't save in bitmap by default any more. It saves in PNG.

Replace the Bitmap file option with a PNG file option.
