Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Ribbon option on wordpad/paint

I don't care about you ribbon fanboys saying "oh it's the best thing ever!", "just try it and you'll love it!", "just give it ten minutes and you'll fall in love with it too!"
I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR RIBBON. You can keep your ribbon.

I DON'T WANT THEM TO REPLACE YOUR RIBBON (that you love so much).
But what I suggest is an option to change it to the ye olde xp/98/etc style.
