Windows 7 leaves a ghost line when the taskbar is dragged, resized or moved to the top of screen

Submitted by ffayaz on October 8, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance, Bug, Icons, Usability

As a w7 user, and as being a heavy pc user, I love to see my taskbar on top of my screen. (surveys and reports have concluded that mouse can easily be moved upward rather than downward by a user).

When I tried to drag or dock the taskbar to the top of the screen, I found that the taskbar leaves a ghost line beneath itself. If you tried to resize the taskbar, it's worse ; the ghost line remained and obstruct the view. I experienced this bug either with large or small icons. This bug remained there till you do a full reboot of the system.

I would like that microsoft repair this bug as it is very stressful, inconvenient and obstructing users to see the the whole menu on the left and those on the right (mini, restore or close icons).

There have been no solution yet to this bug. But it is advisable to frequently browse the windows 7 website to download patches whenever available.

Microsoft has promised that windows 7 would be spectacular and best OS ever. It has also surveyed and concluded that most vista users will shift to w7 soon its release, as it is comparatively faster at bootup, less greedy on memory and lighter on the run.

I only hope MS will fix all the bugs of windows 7 by its release on 22 october 2009.
