add object in wordpad has a mix of old and new icons. Revamp entire add object window

Submitted by .Chris on November 28, 2008 to Aesthetics, Annoyance, Icons, Legacy, Usability

As you can see in the screenshot. Whats sad, is this even exists in office 2007!

not only does the icons need updating but so does the window. Paintbrush? paint document? Same thing.

Update the entire box with mordern style and modern icons. Pass this along to the office team and have them update the add object in word. Still has icons that were used in word 97 and before!

Not top menton most of those objects are so out dated. Microsoft Equation 3.0. Thats in windows 7 and still has a windows 3.1 era UI. Paint Brush was what ms paint was called before windows 95.

They should just scrap the current WordPad and start over again. Microsoft either insists on leaving this crap in or they just don't even know it's there; either is ridiculous. Get into the current millenium, guys.
