Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Windows Power Options: Require a password when Display reinitalizes

Submitted by oneran on June 10, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

There is no option under the power options menu that requires a password when the computer resumes operation after the display alone is selected to turn off after your desired period of time.

Add another option under the Power Options menu (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\System Settings) that allows the user to select this or make the current Require Password option applicable to both options.
