Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Typing "uninstall" from Start Menu should display "Uninstall a program" as first result

Submitted by antiufo on June 5, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

Usually to uninstall a program I open the start menu and I begin to type "uninstall" to open Control panel\Programs

Most installers still add a Uninstall shortcut to the start menu, and they are displayed before the control panel items, but this technique is deprecated, so not all the programs are displayed in this uninstallers list.

When typing this word, show the Control Panel section before Programs.
***Swap the two sections ONLY in this case, obviously, not for every keyword.***
