Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Clicking a window icon that doesnt exists causes right click menu to appear.

Submitted by Acta on June 4, 2009 to Usability

As we all know the control panel and windows explorer windows no longer have icons in the top left hand corner. But left clicking in this top left hand corner still gets the right click menu you would get if there was a icon there.

Why?

Stop this or add an icon to the windows explorer and control panel top left.

Top image shows the menu you get with a single left click in the top left hand corner of control panel and windows explorer. Bottom image shows where the icon should be for windows explorer. NOT in the breadcrumb bar as it is currently, but where it is for EVERY other program in the world....
