Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Having to double click the 'Open' button to download/save to new folder created within the download/save window

Submitted by pepperammi on May 22, 2009 to Annoyance, Legacy, Usability

When download a file and select save your presented with the explorer view to choose where to save. You can create a new folder using that window to put the file in. Use to be that after typing the new name of that new folder you could just click the 'open' button and it would jump straight into the newly created and named folder, without having to click elsewhere or press enter to accept new folder name first.
Now pressing open once first just confirms the new name. Have to press it again to then open the folder and then again to save in there.

This is the same when saving files from any program it seems.

Added unnecessary extra click?

Return to old single click confirmed new name and opened the folder.
