Sidebar.exe should be gadgets.exe

Submitted by blondy269 on May 16, 2009 to Aesthetics

When the Sidebar was introduced in Vista, the application was rightly named 'sidebar.exe'. The sidebar aspect has since been removed in Windows 7, and gadgets sit on the desktop only, rather than in the sidebar. For some reason, however, the application is still called 'sidebar.exe' rather than something more appropriate like 'gadgets.exe'.

EDIT: Could those who are demoting please explain why you would prefer it to be sidebar.exe when it clearly has nothing to do with a sidebar anymore?

Rename 'sidebar.exe' to 'gadgets.exe'.
