ALT+F4 should close a window while in Flip 2D

Submitted by tino on November 8, 2008 to Usability

With ALT+TAB we can easily switch windows. It would be great that while you still holding down the ALT-key, pressing F4 would close the selected window. Would enable users to close a lot of windows very fast.

That is a nice detail in OS X (wich also got the Windows Flip feature a while ago).

ALT+F4 should not close Flip 2D but the selected window.

Changed problem description.

I think they should add little close buttons upon hover like in the SuperBar.

I'm with BraedenP here. Little close buttons, or middle-click to close.

And Aero Peek support should also be added to Alt-Tab when you use the mouse to select a window

Agree on both suggestions! Why not be able to do both... mouse-hover or alt-F4
