( FIXED IN 7068 ) folder Display bug Connected Devices (if they are in Print and Media Transfer Mode)

Submitted by itsmelee on March 28, 2009 to Aesthetics, Bug, Icons

FIXED :: FIXED IN 7068

If any Mobile Devices, including Advanced mode External Devices are connected to Windows 7 (7057 Build . Type x64) and opened in explorer, the folders inside the device are shown very ugly. Upto Build 7048 this was very well ok. The icons of the folders and subfolders resembles that of XP (but different design) and the bug is that the shadow rendered is horribly malfunctioning, leaving black borders and flow.

Details :

1. devices (mobile phones / storage Hd's / Card Readers)
2. connection type : USB
3. Connection Mode : Universal Print and Media Hub Mode

NOTE : read this before promoting or demoting.

1. i have tested this on 3 of my computers running 7057. problem Exists
2. I am not talking about a situation where in the devices are connected as "USB Mass Storage" Mode or "PictureBridge" mode. The mode of Connection where Problem shows up is "Print and Media" mode, normally used in Kiosks and all.
3. Answer to the question why i use "print and media" mode, because i get direct print features, full auto Syncing with windows as well as Media Player.
