Since the poster of the suggestion is obviously going to be interested in hearing other opinions, they should automatically be subscribed to their new suggestions, just like a +1 is automatically given by them for their own suggestion.

It's surprising when you visit your own suggestion after a few days and see a dozen comments you had no idea about :p.
