Media Player shows wrong album art

Submitted by nitrous9200 on November 7, 2008 to Annoyance, Bug

When opening a media file in WMP, the mini mode seems to show the album art of the last media file played rather than the current one. It changes after a while but it shows this at first.

Fix it.

I haven't seen this happen in a while.

I get this all the time, even in WMP11! It really needs to be fixed, not sure what causes it.

It's not an UX thing, it's just a WMP bug. Wrong place to post this I guess

If you have the WMP window minimize whilst changing music, the DWM thumbnail won't update itself till ou have restored the window state.

Ah, ignore my last comment. I just realised you were talking about THE mini mode window, not the taskbar mini mode. Stupid me.

I don't see how it's not welcome here; WMP is an integral part of Windows (unless you have the N version of course) and it's user experience.
