Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Outlook Hide on Minimize

Submitted by Christo on February 22, 2009 to Annoyance

Right now, if outlook hide on minimize is enabled, when you click on the taskbar icon, it opens a new window, instead of the existing hidden one. The best (and ironic) part ist, this is the behavior that was showed in xp/vista as inspiration for combining the quick lanuch and taskbar!

I want this feature to be re-enabled! In xp, I could click on the quick launch, and it would bring up outlook, which was already enabled in the background. In win 7, it opens a new window, so I have to go into the hidden icons, then close it from there
