Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Beta 1: IE8 - In the Search Box pressing Ctrl+Backspace does not work as expected

Submitted by eikonoklastes2 on January 19, 2009 to Bug, Usability

Ctrl+Backspace is the standard Windows shortcut for deleting the word behind the cursor.

In the IE8 Search Box using this shortcut selects all the text instead, which makes no sense.

Curiously enough Ctrl+Delete works exactly as it should.

Fix it so Ctrl+Backspace works as it should in the IE8 Search Box.
