That's what I thought, the filenames could be hidden by a "show more' button (or whatever it's called, every copying dialog has that button at the bottom) since the user doesn't really need to know about the filenames.

There's no reason why anyone shouldn't be following guidelines for a certain platform. Microsoft for one makes it's Office for Mac blend right in (whether it's performance is good or not...that's a different story). Apple could easily make iTunes follow the guidelines instead of their proprietary crap, but it's unlikely that they'll change.

And I remember that comment about iTunes being like "a glass of cold water in hell" or a similar comment that Jobs said...yeah right, it's been slow all along and it's the only software I've seen that gets much slower and more bloated with every new version! I hate it just because it's such a resource hog.

Seriously, use Google for lyrics? Why not have the capability to embed your own lyrics and show them while playing your music? It would be a great feature to have and I never have been able to get it to work in any version of Media Player.

+1, when you click the clock and say "Change time and date settings", you think that you'd be able to edit the format of, you know, the time? As in changing it to a 24 hour clock?

I see only black rectangles on my Vista Basic theme laptop, i don't even see the words. It's terrible. (915 chipset)

The entire MMC needs to be remade from scratch honestly, it reeks of the old days of Windows NT. And Microsoft's LifeCam software still uses the old Help system, but that's a different story.

Can't they put the instructions on the box? Or use some sort of plastic latch that can be released with a button press? Seems like a simple solution.

The Zune will probably get a spot in the Device Stage since it's an MS product, and hopefully we'll be able to perform tasks from the start menu.
