Windows Media Player 12, Functionality, UI and file handling!

Problem: We need the "Default Programs" to work like it should.

Under set programs and computer defaults, when you go there to set, persay, Winamp or Zune as the default media player, firstly nothing happens to file type associations, (more...)

Solution: Well they could bring back Medial Player 11 but the performance loss would be intollerable. Sigh....

Games Folder's Details Pane resizes oddly.

Problem: This prob is super hard to explain so bear with me on this one.

1. Open Games Folder from start menu.
2. Resize the WINDOW until it is the length of the screen, Height doesn't matter.

Bring back the sidebar in Windows 7 as an option!

Problem: B4 Vista i never used widgets because they were pointless and i had to clear my screen every time i wanted to see them. With Vista and the Gadget sidebar, i had a place to not only house my gadgets, but i could set it to stay on top of windows, so all (more...)

Solution: i found a little hack to get the sidebar, all it is, is basically copying 2 files from Vista's
program files\ sidebar folder to the same dir in Windows 7. It will bring back the sidebar and its functionality. I tried it in Win 7 Ultimate (more...)

Navigational Tree Heirarchy doesn't side scroll to allow visibility of text

Aero Theme Thumbnails Gone Blurry

Problem: I was playing around with some themepacks and after one instance of closing the "Personalisation" window, when i re-opened it, the aero themes looked like this....

Solution: 1. Go to this location: -
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper

2. Show Hidden System Files and Folders

3. Then proceed to delete all the ".ini" files in that directory and all subdirectories.
