Set up SmartScreen Filter dialog in Internet Explorer is wrongly designed

Problem: Set up SmartScreen Filter dialog in Internet Explorer is not Aero style, uses the Tahoma font, doesn't use command links, has a XP-styled shield icon and a Vista-styled banner.

Solution: Style the dialog like the second one on the image.

Install From Disk dialog automatically points to A:\

Problem: Adding a new device, asking where to find drivers, it'll point to... A:\
Seriously, floppy drives are already dead...

The dialog is also non-Aero style.

Solution: Point to the CD/DVD drive instead.

Update the dialog to Aero style.

CSS files have a small icon

Wrong Computer icon in "System Tools" folder

Problem: There is a Computer item inside the System Tools folder. It displays the Administrative Tools icon in the more recent builds. However, this is fine in Vista and build 7000.

Solution: Change the icon to the Computer icon.

Notification appears floating in mid-air when you increase the screen resolution

Problem: When you get a notification, increase the screen resolution. The problem? The notification's position didn't get updated and it appears floating in mid-air.

Solution: Update the notification's position when changing the screen resolution.

Change the font of the website to Segoe UI

Problem: Since the main audience of this website is most likely to use Windows 7, why not change the font of the site to Segoe UI? Looks much more cleaner in my opinion.

Solution: Change the font of the website to Segoe UI. (for those who have Firefox and Stylish installed, you can do it now[1])

Alt-Tab and Win+P windows doesn't fade out

Problem: When you use the Alt+Tab or Win+P windows, it doesn't fade out just like any other windows. And for some reason, pressing Alt-Tab and then the Windows key will actually make it fade out.

Solution: Make the windows fade out when done using them.

Resource and Performance Monitor has a strange-looking progress bar

Problem: Even though it's a relatively new program in Vista, the Resource and Performance Monitor program has a weird-looking progress bar.

Solution: Use the native control and change from indeterminate to determinate.

"Website suggestions" in "Post a suggestion" screen splits into two lines

In the "Post a suggestion" screen, the "Website suggestions" category splits into two lines. Obviously, this doesn't look nice.

Solution: Change "Website suggestions" to "Website suggestion"

Information icons in CardSpace doesn't look good

Help in Internet Protocol is not integrated into Windows Help and Support

Problem: Help in Internet Protocol is not integrated into Windows Help and Support. Some of them even open up that infamous "sorry, no help for you because winhlp32.exe is deprecated, blame the developer for being so lazy instead".

Solution: Integrate the help into Windows Help and Support.
