Problem: Why not licence the source code to this website under a GPL licence to make it easy for others to create their own Taskforce website based on any topic they choose?

A System Repository or Apps Store for Windows 8 or include in a future Service Pack for Windows 7.

Aero Theme Thumbnails Gone Blurry

Problem: I was playing around with some themepacks and after one instance of closing the "Personalisation" window, when i re-opened it, the aero themes looked like this....

Solution: 1. Go to this location: -
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper

2. Show Hidden System Files and Folders

3. Then proceed to delete all the ".ini" files in that directory and all subdirectories.

More dual screen shortkeys needed

Problem: When Pressing WIN-P the pop-up selection only shows up at the active screen.
But that might not be the screen were i'm located. (My screens are located in different rooms.)
So i'm am forced to press the Win-P several times.

Solution: What would be usable is showing the pop-up on both screens!

But the best solution would be that after pressing win-p you can select the setup by pressing 1-4

When saving a file, auto-defaults to having no file type

Allow non-Microsoft Programs to use certain features

Problem: I'm not sure if this is possible, but I believe that only Microsoft Programs can have these features.

Features such as the ribbon, and the quick access toolbar are not allowed to be used in non-Microsoft programs.

Solution: Allow non-Microsoft Programs to use these features.

Switchable system-wide directwrite use

Problem: Directwrite use needs to be applied per-application. No system-wide use of directwrite.

Solution: Provide directwrite method of cleartype in display settings.

Border Padding Resetting

Problem: When you specify a padding border for the windows it might reset randomly after a couple (perhaps maybe even one) computer reset, taking it back to 4.

Problem: Look at the screenshot. I made a comment on October 26, which is correct, but when I edit it, the last edit time is on October 25. o_O

Download window in Internet Explorer should look the same or similar to Windows Explorer

Problem: The download window in IE is old and does not comply with the Windows UX Guidelines. It gives too much information, most of which is not needed for the every day user.

Solution: When we move or delete files in Windows Explorer, a dialogue box appears. That dialogue box (or a similar one) should be used in IE.

Albums are NOT sortable by year any more. [Windows Media Player 12]

Problem: In Media Player 11, by default, albums were sorted by year, which is very sensible. Now in Media Player 12, they are by default sorted by name (alphabetically). There is no way to sort by year any more.

Solution: Make albums sortable by year again in the artist view.

Change the font of the website to Segoe UI

Problem: Since the main audience of this website is most likely to use Windows 7, why not change the font of the site to Segoe UI? Looks much more cleaner in my opinion.

Solution: Change the font of the website to Segoe UI. (for those who have Firefox and Stylish installed, you can do it now[1])
