Aero turning itself off and on, a hidden shortcut?

Problem: A few times now Ive noticed when playing world of warcraft for hours that Aero suddenly would turn itself off and revert to the windows 7 basic theme while playing. Only shutting down WoW would then return Aero and a friend speculated it might be a reaction (more...)

Solution: If its a shortcut as suspected, Ill like a way to turn off the functionality so it isnt accidentally pressed.

Add Printer dialog says "Click Back" but the back button is (somehow) missing

Problem: If you try to add a network printer by its ip and you mistyped the ip, the dialog asks you to click the "Back" button to correct your input.
But this button is not present, only the left arrow in the left corner is available.

Problem: This dialog bores me. (Even in aero mode) Just the idea that its even a dialog is a problem. Could it be possible to add a Mac OS X style add to gadgets interface (with the cool scrolling and all that)

Laptop Speakers Broken into 2 Playback Devices

Problem: I have a Asus G2S Laptop, which includes 4 built in speakers (2 on top, 2 on the bottom). In Vista, these all showed up under 1 playback device. Which was fine. But after upgrading to Windows 7 Beta, they're now broken up into separate playback devices. (more...)

Solution: Well the obvious solution is to figure out why it broke them up into 2 different devices in the first place. But another way to fix this, which would actually be a useful feature, would be to bring back multiple playback devices (such as in WinXP).

Windows Media Player 12 Icon

Problem: It seems to me that the icon for WMP 12 (& I think it was the same for 11 as well) doesn't seem to match the overall "look & feel" of WMP itself.

Make the ALT+tab screen appear with a fading in effect

Redesign the Start Orb so it stands out.

Font Shadow on Desktop????

Problem: From reading earlier posts it is apparent that many users are unhappy with the shadow fonts on the desktop. I tried to improve it by contrast and size, but the images are still blurry and my eyes already hurt from straining after just a couple hours. (more...)

Solution: Remove the shadow and use a clear font such as Arial in white or black. Maybe there can be an option for color, but REMOVE the shadow.
