Taskbar Buttons Customization Options as radio buttons instead of a combo box

Problem: The taskbar's button's customization options should not be presented as a combo box, but instead as an radio button style layout

Solution: simply switch the layout into radio buttons, the code is already their, and i'd really hope it is not hard coded to those 3 possible choices

Make the scroll bar fade out when not in use

Problem: The scroll bar in the Explorer windows waste screen space, especially on netbooks.

UPDATE: See my comment WAY BELOW.

Solution: Make the scroll bar fade out when not in use. If the mouse goes near the scroll bars, they would fade in again. This is cleverly implemented on the Zune HD.

Allow the 'show desktop' button to be moved

Picky comment on Task Force titles

Problem: This forum is a database of "submissions" (see this heading).
Yet, I get to post a "suggestion". And I can search a "suggestion" but not a submission.

Improve the Gadget Gallery.

Problem: I've seen many complaints of the Gadget Gallery.
I thougt that it would need a redesign but I couldn't imagine how it could be better.

Use UTC time.

Problem: a) Using Local Time means the internal system clock must be changed every time you move time zones or switch to a DST season.

b) Since other OS's overwhelmingly use UTC, dual booters will experience an odd "clock shift" every (more...)

Solution: There was a registry hack to force Windows to shift to UTC time, but it's unstable.

Good would be testing that registry solution to get it working.

Better would be putting an option and a brief discussion of the pros/cons (more...)

Windows XP Style Start Menu

Solution: Add an option in "Start Menu" options to either go back to the classic XP start menu, or have several options such as allowing you to enable/disable the stupidity they introduced in vista.
