Due to the stupidity of Long (that's me), all comments on the Windows 7 Taskforce after March has been lost.
As a result of this unfortunate event, a transition to a new backend (the one powering heresanidea.net) is being considered.

Blu-ray drive icon should have the disc blue.

Submitted by .Chris on February 14, 2010 to Icons

While the actual disks are not blue, it would be nice to have the icon blue, so those who may have dual drives, one being a blu-ray and one being a normal DVD drive can tell the difference,.

Information icons in CardSpace doesn't look good

Submitted by nyp on February 28, 2010 to Aesthetics, Icons

When you want to back up your cards in CardSpace, the information icons at there looks a little jaggy.

Replace them with the native icons.

IExpress wizard problem

Submitted by formula_86 on February 11, 2010 to Aesthetics, Icons, Legacy

The IExpress wizard for creating self-extracting packages has a problem.

From the screenshot, you can see a problem:

The icon in the taskbar is low resolution.

I recommend doing the following:

Make the cabinet icon higher resolution to match the Aero Wizard guidelines.

Or failing that, just dump the program entirely.

Construct whole new UI design, vector icon package and programming API etc for Windows 7

Submitted by formula_86 on February 17, 2010 to Aesthetics, Icons, Legacy, Usability

As nice and pretty though Windows 7 is with its scalable vector based icons, Aero UI,WPF apis etc etc, lets face it: its based on a vintage win32 API which was cool and awesome in 1995, but because its now 15 years since, its time for a change methinks.

Reconstruct Windows 7 in whole new ways as suggested in the title.
